about us
Hi, we are Thanh and Vincent - the artists behind Lierre Sauvage. Two makers, one little studio in Nuremberg and a question that had been following us for months: why do some rooms feel immediately right, while others never quite do?
We spent months on research. Testing materials, refining techniques, starting over. Until we found the form that aligned with our values, one that could carry everything we cared about at once. Art that is genuinely handmade. Materials that are genuinely natural. And a function that goes beyond the visual - improving the rooms and the lives of the people who live in them.

“Do not wait for extraordinary circumstances to do good action; try to use ordinary situations.”
Jean-Paul Richter
art felt with all senses
Every piece begins with raw sheep wool and ends as a finished original – and every step in between happens by hand. The wool is hand-felted layer by layer, built up slowly until the surface has exactly the density it needs to work both visually and acoustically. The shadow gap frame is handbuilt using high quality oak. The natural wool core – certified biocide-free and permanently moth-resistant – absorbs 80% of reverberations per squaremeter and helps with climate regulation.
All of our components work together symbiotically to create an acoustic artwork that elevates your interior design both visually and acoustically.
